MLS: Quakes, Crew, Revs, Fire, Goats Pick Up Wins; Goose Eggs In Vancouver

Saturday saw six matches contested in Major League Soccer.


At Toronto:


Chris Wondolowski scored twice (9', 68') as the San Jose Earthquakes dominated Toronto FC 3-0 on the road.


At Columbus, Ohio:


Milovan Mirosevic (PK-30') and Olman Vargas (66') provided the scoring that propelled the Columbus Crew to a 2-0 home win over the ten-man Montreal Impact.


At Foxborough, Massachusetts:


Saer Sene's first MLS goal, scored roughly 30 seconds into the contest, stood up as the New England Revolution held off the visiting Portland Timbers 1-0.


At Bridgeview, Illinois:


Dominic Oduro scored the only goal of the match in the 28th minute as the Chicago Fire blanked the visiting Philadelphia Union 1-0.


At Sandy, Utah:


Casey Townsend scored the game's lone goal in the 72nd minute as Chivas USA knocked off Real Salt Lake 1-0 on the road.


At Vancouver, British Columbia:


The match between the Vancouver Whitecaps and visiting DC United ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
