In a replay of the match that was suspended at 41 minutes on March 17 after Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba suffered cardiac arrest (he's continuing to make progress at a London hospital), Ryan Nelson (73'), Gareth Bale (77'), and Louis Saha (90'+4) each scored a goal as Tottenham Hotspur defeated the visiting Trotters 3-1 to advance to a Wembley Stadium semifinal match on April 15 against Chelsea.
At Sunderland, England:
Goals from Nikica Jelavic (23') and David Vaughan (OG-56') carried Everton to a 2-0 quarterfinal-round-replay road win over Sunderland, sending the Toffees into an April 14 Wembley Stadium Merseyside Derby semifinal match with Liverpool.
