The European Championship continued with two games in Group B, both played in Ukraine on Wednesday.
At Lviv:
Silvestre Varela scored the winning goal in the 87th minute as Portugal blew a two-goal lead, but then pulled out a 3-2 win over Denmark. Pepe (24', shown here) and Helder Postiga (36') also scored for the Portuguese while Nicklas Bendtner scored both of Denmark's goals (41', 80')
At Kharkiv:
Mario Gomez scored twice (24', 38') enabled Germany to hold off the Netherlands 2-1 and all but clinch a berth in the quarterfinal round. That's Super Mario's first goal shown here.
