UEFA Champions League, Group F: Barca Top Visiting APOEL; Ajax and PSG Draw

Two Wednesday contests marked the opening of Group F play in the UEFA Champions League.

At Barcelona:

Gerard Pique scored the only goal of the match in the 28th minute (as shown here) as Barcelona defeated visiting APOEL FC 1-0.

At Amsterdam, Netherlands:

Lasse Schone's equalizer in the 74th minute enabled Ajax Amsterdam to salvage a 1-1 home draw with Paris Saint-Germian.  Edison Cavani scored for the French club in the 14th minute.  That's ol' Lasse battling PSG's Maxwell for the ball.
