Mohammad Nouri's successfully-converted 21st-minute penalty kick provided all the scoring in Persepolis FC's 1-0 road win over FC Bunyodkor.
At Doha, Qatar:
Vladimir Weiss' equalizer in the 51st minute enabled Lekhwiya to salvage a 1-1 home draw with Al-Nassr. Mohammad Musa's own goal in the 47th minute provided the Saudi club's score.

Abdurahman Al-Khaibari (35') and Naif Hazazi (85') delivered the scoring that enabled Al-Shabab to salvage a 2-2 home draw with Pakhtakor Tashkent. Igor Sergeev (63') and Kakhi Makharadze (PK-71') each scored once for the visiting Uzbek club.

Masato Kudo scored twice (42', 87') as Kashiwa Reysol demolished visiting Becamex Bihn Duong 5-1.
