At Bogota, Colombia:

Lucas Pratto scored the only goal of the match in the 58th minute as Atletico Mineiro defeated Indepeniente Santa Fe 1-0 on the road.

Vitinho's equalizer in the 55th minute lifted Internacional to a 1-1 road draw with Club Sport Emelec.  Angel Mena scored in the 31st minute for the hosts.

Guido Carrillo scored the only goal of the match in the 79th minute as Estudiantes de La Plata got the measure of visiting Club Libertad 1-0.

At San Cristobal, Venezuela:

Julian Benitez successfully converted a penalty kick in the 41st minute to carry Club Guarani to a 1-1 road draw with Deportivo Tachira.  Cesar Gonzalez converted a spot kick of his own for the hosts in the 20th minute.
