The 2017 edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup opened on Friday with two Group A games, both contested at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.
In the opener, Alphonso Davies delivered a pair of second-half goals (60', 85') as Canada doubled up French Guiana 4-2.
In the nightcap, Marco Urena scored the only goal of the match in the 39th minute as Costa Rica defeated Honduras 1-0.
