Goals from Jeremy Ebobisse (14') and Sebastian Blanco (49') enabled the Portland Timbers to snap a six-game winless run with a 2-1 Cascadia Cup road win over the Vancouver Whitecaps.
At Seattle:
Cristian Roldan scored twice (54', 56') as the Seattle Sounders broke open what was at halftime a scoreless stalemate and wound up dominating the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 3-0.
