Europa League

The second round of Europa League qualifying continued on Thursday with 32 games.

At Tikva, Israel:

Serkan Yusein's equalizer in the 73rd minute carried Botev Plovdiv to a series-opening 1-1 road draw with Beirut Jerusalem.  Tal Kachila scored for the Israeli club in the 11th minute.

At Larnaca, Cyprus:

Andre Schembri (10'), Alex da Silva (PK-21'), and Joao Pedro (28') each produced a goal in the opening half-hour as Apollon Limassol dominated visiting Zaria Balti 30- in the opening match of their two-game series.

At Skopje, Macedonia:

Bojan Najdemov's equalizing penalty kick in the third minute of second-half stoppage time enabled FK Rabotnicki to salvage a series-opening 1-1 draw with Dinamo Minsk.  Vladimir Khvashchinskiy scored for the visiting club from Belarus in the 53rd minute.

At Bratislava, Slovakia:

Jeppe Kjaer scored the only goal of the match in the 75th minute as Lyngby knocked off FC Slovan Bratislava 1-0 in the opening match of their series. 

At Dublin, Ireland:

Jan Chramosta scored the winning goal in the 88th minute as Mlada Boleslav opened their series with a 3-2 road win over Shamrock Rovers.

At Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina:

The opening contest between Zeljeznicar Sarajevo and visiting  AIK Solna played out to a 0-0 stalemate.

At Cork, Ireland:

Joan Guillem Truyols scored the lone goal of the game in the 70th minute as AEK Larnaca took the opening match of their series with Cork City 1-0 on the road in the Emerald Isle.

At Aimaty, Kazakhstan:

Bakary Nimaga's equalizer in the 72nd minute lifted Skenderbeu Korce to a series-opening 1-1 home draw with Kairat.  Gerard Bi Goua Gohou scored for the hosts in the ninth minute. 

At Athens, Greece:

Samed Yesil scored twice (12', 47') as Panionios blanked visiting ND Gorica 2-0 in their series-opening match.

At Giurgiu, Romania:

Alexandru Dandea scored the winning goal in the 55th minute as Astra Giurgiu outlasted visiting Zira 3-1 in their series opener.

At Haugesund, Norway:

Liban Abdi (24'), Haris Hajradinovic (71'), and Shuaibu Ibrahim (73') each scored once as Haugesund held on for a 3-2 series-opening home victory over Lech Poznan.  Radoslaw Majewski (75') and Darko Jevtic (PK-90'+3) each scored a goal to keep the Polish club's chances in the series alive.

At Brondby, Denmark:

Teemu Pukki (17') and Kasper Fisker (29') each scored once during the first half-hour as Brondby blanked visiting VPS 2-0 in game one of their two-contest series.

At Norrkoping, Sweden:

Sebastian Andersson (32') and Karl Holmberg (61') each scored once as IFK Norrkoping outlasted visiting Trakai  2-1 in game one.  Maksim Maksimov kept the Lithuanian club in the series with his road goal at 66 minutes.

At Dugopolje, Croatia:

Hajduk Split, thanks to Marko Futacs' successfully-converted 24th-minute penalty kick, defeated visiting Levski Sofia 2-1 in their series opener.

At Tallinn, Estonia:

Marko Scepovic converted a pair of penalty kicks (47', 74') as Videoton dominated Nomme Kalju 3-0 on the road in their series-opening contest.

At Netanya, Israel:

Vidhar Kjartansson scored the winning goal in the 78th minute as Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated visiting KR Reykjavik 3-1 in the opening match of their two-game series.

At Paola, Malta:

Valletta and visiting FC Utrecht battled to a 0-0 deadlock.

At Ruzomberok, Slovakia:

Bismark Acosta scored the only goal of the match in the 47th minute as SK Brann knocked off Ruzomberok 1-0 in their series-opening match on the road.

At Liepaja, Latvia:

Ovidijus Verbickas (18') and Karolis Luakzemis (74') delivered the goal power as FK Suduva Mariejampole blanked FK Liepaja 2-0 on the road in match one of their two-game series.

At Baku, Azerbaijan:

Steeven Joseph-Monrose's equalizer in the 47th minute enabled Gabala to gain a series-opening 1-1 draw with visiting Jagiellonia Bialystok.  Taras Romanchuk scored for the Polish club in the 16th minute.

At Differdange, Luxembourg:

Mikel Arruabarrena scored the game's lone goal in the 66th minute as AEL Limassol defeated Progres Niederkorn 1-0 in game one of their two-match series.

At Altach, Austria:

Pavel Sedko's equalizer in the 74th minute lifted Dinamo Brest to a series-opening 1-1 road draw with Rheindord Altach.  Stefan Nutz scored for the Austrian club in the 49th minute.

At Ostersund, Sweden:

Saman Ghoddos (68') and Jamie Hopcutt (90'+2) each scored once as Ostersund opened their series with Galatasaray by blanking the visiting Turkish club 2-0.

At Vaduz, Liechtenstein:

Olivier Occean scored the only goal of Odds BK's series-opening 1-0 road win over FC Vaduz in the 42nd minute.

At Reykjavik, Iceland:

Senijad Ibricic converted a penalty kick in the 73rd minute for the game-winning goal as Domzale knocked off Valur 2-1 on the road in their series opener.

At Pavlodar, Kazakhstan:

Stefan Zivkovic's successfully-executed penalty kick in the third minute of second-half stoppage time enabled Irtysh Pavlodar to salvage a series-opening 1-1 home draw with Red Star Belgrade.  Yiadom Richmond Boakye delivered the visiting Serbian club's goal thanks to his own successful penalty kick in the 51st minute.

At Aberdeen, Scotland:

Stipo Markovic squared things off in the 69th minute to carry NK Siroki Brijeg to a series-opening 1-1 road draw with Aberdeen.  Ryan Christie tallied for the Dons in the 18th minute.

At Budapest, Hungary:

Jakob Poulsen produced a hat trick (PK-45'+1, 61', PK-67') as FC Midtjylland knocked off Ferencvaros 4-2 on the road in the opening match of their series.

At Graz, Austria:

Milos Krkotic's successfully-converted second-minute penalty kick stood up as Mladost Podgorica delivered a series-opening 1-0 road win over Sturm Graz.

At Strumica, Macedonia:

Besart Ibraimi delivered a hat trick (PK-45', 59', PK-64') as Shkendija defeated visiting HJK Helsinki 3-1 in the opening match of their two-game series.

At Myjava, Slovakia:
Jakob Paur's goal in the 59th minute enabled Trencin to salvage a series-opening 1-1 home draw with Bnei Yehuda.  Nerijus Valskis scored for the Israeli club in the third minute.

At Osijek, Croatia:

Muzafer Ejupi (66') and Eros Grezda (79') delivered the goals as Osijek blanked visiting FC Lucerne 2-0 in their series-opening contest.
