Group-stage play in the CAF Champions League commenced on Friday with three games.

GROUP B:

At Rades, Tunisia:

Yassine Chikhaoui scored the only goal of the match in the 60th minute as Etoile du Sahel defeated visiting Al-Ahly 1-0.

At Omdurman, Sudan:

Mohamed Eldai scored twice (26', 70') as Al-Hilal defeated visiting FC Platinum 2-1.

Toufik Addadi's goal in the 66th minute lifted JS Kabylie to a 1-0 home victory over TP Mazembe.
