CAF Champions League

Group-stage play in the CAF Champions League continued with five games on Saturday.

GROUP A:

At Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo:

Jackson Muleka scored twice (60', 84') as TP Mazembe broke open what was a scoreless deadlock at half time and overpowered visiting Zamalek 3-0.

At Luanda, Angola:

Clement Mwape's equalizer in the 16th minute lifted ZESCO United to a 1-1 road draw with the August 1st Club.

Cristavo Paciencia Mabululo scored for the hosts in the ninth minute.

At Blida, Algeria:

Badie Aouk's equalizer in the 89th minute carried Wydad Casablanca to a 1-1 road draw with USM Alger.

Abdelkrim Zouari scored for the hosts in the fifth minute.

At Pretoria, South Africa:

Mauricio Affonso (7'), Motjeka Madisha (29'), and Sphelele Mkhulise (76') each scored once as Mamelodi Sundowns dominated visiting Petro de Luanda 3-0.
