MLS Is Back Tournament: Fire Knock Off Sounders; Lions, Philly Clinch Berths In Knockout Stage

Three games are set to be contested in MLS Is Back Tournament group-stage play at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Bay Lake, Florida.

GROUP B:

Robert Beric (52') and Mauricio Pineda (84') provided the goalpower as the Chicago Fire held off the Seattle Sounders 2-1.

GROUP A:

In the first of two games in this group, Chris Mueller scored twice (4', 10') as Orlando City held off New York City 3-1 and ultimately secured a berth in the knockout stage.

In Tuesday's final contest, Kacper Przybylko scored the game winner at 63 minutes as the Philadelphia Union clinched a berth in the knockout stage after topping Inter Miami 2-1.
