Three games were contested on Tuesday in the MLS is Back Tournament at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

GROUP C:

Game #1:

Toronto FC and the New England Revolution both locked up berths in the knockout stage after battling to a 0-0 stalemate.

Game #2:

Saphir Taider scored the only goal of the match in the 31st minute as the Montreal Impact stayed alive in the tournament while eliminating DC United in the process with their 1-0 victory.

Final Group C Standings:

1. Toronto FC (GP: 3; GD: +1; PTS: 5)
2. New England (GP: 3; GD: +1; PTS: 5)
3. Montreal (GP: 3; GD: -1; PTS: 3)
4. DC United (GP: 3; GD: -1; PTS: 2)

Toronto FC and New England advanced to the knockout stage; Montreal stayed alive for a berth as one of the four best third-placed finishing clubs; DC United were eliminated.



GROUP E:

Youness Mokhtar scored the game's lone goal in the 18th minute as the Columbus Crew locked up top spot in Group E after deflating Atlanta United 1-0 as the Five Stripes exit the tournament after failing to score in any of their three defeats.
