MLS Is Back Tournament: Two Draws And A Sporting KC Victory On Friday

The MLS Is Back Tournament resumed on Friday with three games contested at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Bay Lake, Florida.

GROUP C:

Federico Higuain's equalizer in the 72nd minute carried DC United to a 1-1 draw with the New England Revolution.

Adam Buska scored for the Revs in the 51st minute.

Group C Standings:

1. Toronto FC (GP: 2; GD: +1; PTS: 4)
2. New England (GP: 2; GD: +1; PTS: 4) 
3. DC United (GP: 2; GD: 0; PTS: 2)
4. Montreal (GP: 2; GD: -2; PTS: 0)

NOTE:  With Toronto and New England level on points (4), wins (1), and goal differential (+1), the Reds have scored more goals than the Revolution (6-2).



GROUP D:

In the first of two Group D contests, Graham Zusi scored the winning goal in the second minute of second-half stoppage time to carry Sporting Kansas City to a 3-2 victory over the nine-man Colorado Rapids.

In the final Friday match, Real Salt Lake and Minnesota United battled to a 0-0 stalemate.
