Game #1:

Jeremy Ebobisse (36') and Diego Valeri (61') delivered the goals after the Portland Timbers clinched a berth in the knockout stage after holding off the ten-man Houston Dynamo 2-1.

Game #2:

In the Group F nightcap, Diego Rossi produced a quadruple (PK-13', 45'+2, 75', 90'+2) as the Los Angeles Football Club scored five unanswered goals in demolishing the Los Angeles Galaxy 6-2 in the latest, albeit out-of-the-way, edition of the Freeway Derby.
