MLS Action, Saturday, September 16

Time now for a recap of Saturday's Major League Soccer action:

At East Rutherford, New Jersey:

How's this for a 16-year-old? Young Jozy Altidore scored his first goal, in this, only his second MLS game, leading the New York Red Bulls to a critical 1-0 win over the fading Columbus Crew at home. Details of Jozy's goal and the match here.

At Salt Lake City:

Veteran Jason Kreis scored his MLS record 107th career goal, leading Real Salt Lake to a come-from-behind 3-2 victory over FC Dallas, denying the visitors the opportunity to clinch a playoff berth, while keeping their postseason hopes alive. Details here.

At Carson, California:

The Colorado Rapids and Los Angeles Galaxy played to a scoreless draw. Stats here.
