MLS: RSL, Galaxy Clinch Playoff Berths; Fire, Quakes Also Win; SKC and Red Bulls Settle For Road Draws

Six games were played on Saturday in Major League Soccer.

At Montreal:

The contest between the Montreal Impact and visiting Sporting Kansas City ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

At Foxborough, Massachusetts:

After Joel Lindpere scored in the first minute of second-half stoppage time (90'+1) to give the visiting New York Red Bulls a 1-0 lead, Darrius Barnes equalized four minutes later (90'+4) for the New England Revolution as the clubs battled to a 1-1 draw.

At Sandy, Utah:

Fabian Espindola (14') and Javier Morales (36') each scored a goal off of a set-piece situation as Real Salt Lake locked up a playoff berth (their fifth in a row) by holding off the visiting Portland Timbers 2-1.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Chris Rolfe scored twice during a three-minute span of the first half (23', 26') as the Chicago Fire came from behind to defeat the visiting Columbus Crew 2-1 for their seventh win in their last eight starts.

At Seattle:

Simon Dawkins (2') and Chris Wondolowski (30') each delivered a goal as the San Jose Earthquakes knocked off the Seattle Sounders 2-1 on the road.

At Carson, California:

Juninho (11', 33') and Robbie Keane (36', 90'+2) each scored twice as the Los Angeles Galaxy doubled up visiting Toronto FC 4-2 and locked up a playoff berth for the fourth year running.
