Liga MX Apertura Playoffs: Toluca, Club Tijuana Reach Two-Match Final

The semifinal round of Mexico's Liga MX Apertura playoffs concluded with two games played on Sunday.

At Toluca de Lerdo, Mexico:

Edgar Martinez scored the series-winning goal in the 59th minute as Toluca, despite dropping a 2-1 game-two decision at home, still won their two-match series with Club America 3-2 on aggregate.

At Tijuana, Mexico:

Fidel Martinez (42'), Dubier Riascos (68'), and Richard Ruiz (90') each delivered a goal as Club Tijuana overturned their 2-0 road defeat from last Thursday and defeated visiting Leon 2-0 in game two and won their series 3-2 on aggregate.
