At Messina:
Empoli FC twice came back from one-goal deficits to gain a 1-1 road draw with Messina. Antonio Busce scored the final goal in the 64th minute for the visitors.
At Cagliari:
Cagliari Calcio (still looking for their first league win this season) and visiting Torino battled to a 0-0 stalemate. The two goalkeepers, Cagliari's Antonio Chimenti and his Torino counterpart, Christian Abbiati ended with clean sheets.
