PSV Doubles Up ADO

Five games were played Saturday in the Dutch Eredivisie:

At Eindhoven:

Thanks to goals from Patrick Kluivert (33') and Jefferson Farfan (48'), PSV Eindhoven held off struggling and visiting ADO Den Haag.

At Nijmegen:

Ajax Amsterdam and homestanding NEC Nijmegen battled to a 2-2 draw in which all four goals were scored in the final thirty minutes. Gabri (80') scored the equalizer for Ajax, roughly one minute after Peter Wisgerhof scored to give NEC the lead.

At Rotterdam:

Three different goal scorers powered Sparta Rotterdam to a 3-0 thumping of visiting Twente Enschede.

At Heerenveen:

Visiting FC Ultrecht and SC Heerenveen battled to a 0-0 deadlock.

At Waalwijk:

With Koen Van Der Laak (PK-26') and Erik Nevland (49') providing the tallies, FC Groningen finished 2006 with a 2-0 road win over struggling RKC Waalwijk.
