Real Zaragoza and homestanding Athletic Bilbao played to a 0-0 stalemate.
At Valencia:
Goals from Vincente Rodriguez (39'), David Villa (57') , and Fernando Morientes (82') propelled Valencia to an easy 3-1 home decision over Mallorca.
