Goals from Michael Bradley (9'), Clint Dempsey (17'), and Brian Ching (57') helped the United States breeze to a convincing 3-0 home win over Trinidad and Tobago. The Americans have all but sealed a berth in the final stage of qualifying.
At Guatemala City, Guatemala:
Carlos Ruiz scored twice (37', 54') as Guatemala throttled visiting Cuba 4-1.

Hondurs, thanks to goals from Ramon Nunez (60') and Amado Guevara (73') defeated visiting Jamaica 2-0.

Bryan Ruiz doubled (12', 72') and Alejandro Apizar (85') added one of his own as Costa Rica all but sealed a berth in the final qualifying stage with their 3-1 road win over Haiti.
