A 0-0 road draw in game two of their two-match home-and-away series was good enough for Hertha Berlin to advance to the group stage as they eliminated Saint Patrick's Athletic FC 2-0 on aggregate.
Group Six:
At Moscow:
Aleksei Berezutski scored the only goal of game two at 37 minutes, as CSKA Moscow defeated Croatia's NK Slaven Koprivnica 1-0 in the game and took their two-match set 3-1 on aggregate.
The remaining 38 first round two-match sets will conclude on Thursday.
