CONCACAF Champions League: Saprissa Double Up Marathon; Dynamo And Pumas Draw

Group stage play in the CONCACAF Champions League resumed Tuesday:

Group A:

At San Jose, Costa Rica:

Celso Borges (69') and Alejandro Alpizar (85') provided the second half goals that enabled Deportivo Saprisso to come from behind and defeat visiting Marathon (Honduras) 2-1.

Group B:

At Mexico City:

Kei Kamara (16', PK-34') and Craig Waibel (4', 51') each scored twice as the Houston Dynamo gained a 2-2 road draw against UNAM Pumas. Dante Lopez (18'), Efrain Juarez (27'), Francisco Palencia (42'), and Dario Veron (45'+2) each scored once for the hosts.
