Goals from Simao (14') and Maxi Rodriguez (28', he's seen here celebrating with teammates) enabled Atletico Madrid to hold off visiting PSV Eindhoven 2-1 to lay claim to a berth in the Round of 16.

At Liverpool, England:

Steven Gerard's goal at 23 minutes was the only tally of the game which saw Liverpool lock up a knockout stage berth with their 1-0 home win over Marseille. Here's ol' Steven, celebrating with teammates.
