UEFA CL Group A: Roma Overpower Cluj; Bordeaux Gain Home Draw With Chelsea

At Bordeaux, France:

rth with their 1-1 home draw with Chelsea. Nicola Anelka provided the Blues with a short-lived go-ahead tally at 60 minutes.

At Cluj-Napoca, Romania:

Matteo Brighi scored twice (11', 64', he's seen here celebrating after his second tally) and Francesco Totti added one (23') as visiting AS Roma closed in on a knockout-stage berth with a 3-1 win over CFR Cluj, eliminating the Transylvanian club from European competition.
