At Florence, Italy:

Tim Borowski's 78th-minute goal (he's pictured here celebrating) enabled Bayern Munich to gain a 1-1 road draw with Fiorentina. Adrian Mutu had put the Italian club in front with his tally at 11 minutes.

At Lyon, France:

Lyon, with goals from Juninho Pernambucano (44', here he is, celebrating) and Anthony Reveillere (89'), blanked visiting Steaua Bucharest. The loss eliminated the Romanian club from contention for a spot in the Champions League's knockout stage.
