Tadanari Lee scored the only goal of the match in overtime (109') as Japan defeated Australia 1-0 on Saturday to win the championship match of the AFC Asian Cup. The Blue Samurai will compete in the 2013 Confederations Cup tournament which will take place in Brazil.
