Miguel Sabah (17') and Gerardo Lugo (22') enabled Morelia to rack up a second 2-1 win over second-seeded Cruz Azul, this time on the road as they won their two-game series 4-2 on aggregate.
At Zapopan, Mexico:
A game-two 0-0 road draw with Chivas de Guadalajara proved to be enough for Queretaro as the visitors knocked out the top-seeded Goats 2-1 on aggregate.
