Sotiris Ninis scored the only goal of the match in the 65th minute on Wednesday as Panathinaikos defeated Atromitos 1-0 on the road in Greek Super League Champions League Qualifiers playoff action. The Shamrock now lead the final playoff group by two points over AEK Athens and can lock up a berth in the third qualifying round for next season's Champions League with a win or draw at home on Sunday against AEK.
