MLS: Saturday Wins For Sounders, Crew, Caps, Philly, Fire, SKC, RSL

Seven games were contested on Saturday in Major League Soccer.

At Toronto:

Goals from Mauro Rosales (16') and Doneil Henry (OG-40) carried the Seattle Sounders (in Clint Dempsey's debut)to a 2-1 road win over Toronto FC.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Federico Higuain scored both goals (PK-62', 76') in the Columbus Crew's 2-0 home win over the New York Red Bulls.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Camilo Sanvezzo (60') and Kenny Miller (74') provided the scoring as the Vancouver Whitecaps blanked the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 2-0.

At Chester, Pennsylvania:

Conor Casey provided both goals (35', 75') as the Philadelphia Union blanked visiting DC United 2-0.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Joel Lindpere (6') and Dilly Duka (23') provided the scoring punch as the Chicago Fire held off the visiting Montreal Impact 2-1.

At Kansas City, Kansas:

Kei Kamara scored twice (27', 50') as Sporting Kansas City dominated the visiting nine-man New England Revolution.

At Sandy, Utah:

Alvaro Saborio's penalty kick in the 37th minute provided all the scoring in Real Salt Lake's 1-0 home win over the Houston Dynamo.
