2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying: Canada and Belize Win Series Openers; El Salvador Gain Road Draw With Saint Kitts and Nevis

Three Games were played on Thursday as CONCACAF regional qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup continued.

At Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic:

Deon McCaulay scored twice (13', 88') as Belize took the opening game of their two-match series with the Dominican Republic 2-1 on the road.

At Roseau, Dominica:

Cyle Larin (6') and Russell Teibert (PK-67') each scored a goal as Canada blanked Dominica 2-0 on the road in their series opener.

At Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis:

Irvin Herrera (41') and Nelson Bonilla (86') each tallied once as El Salvador gained a series-opening 2-2 road draw with Saint Kitts and Nevis.  Orlando Mitchum (68') and Romaine Sawyers (71') each scored a second-half goal three minutes apart for the Sugar Boyz.
