Group-stage play in the Copa Libertadores is set to continue on Thursday with three games.

GROUP ONE:

At Guayaquil, Ecuador:

Facundo Sanchez scored twice (52', 79') as Estudiantes knocked off Barcelona SC 3-0 on the road.

At Rio de Janeiro:

Rodrigo Pimpao scored the only goal of the match in the 50th minute as Botafogo locked up a berth in the knockout stage after their 1-0 home win over Atletico Nacional as the defending champions have been dethroned by being eliminated from the tournament.

Ignacio Fernandez scored the winning goal in the 69th minute to carry River Plate to a 3-2 road win over FBC Melgar as the Argentinian club clinched top spot in Group Three while the Peruvian club was eliminated from the tournament.
