At Tucuman, Argentina:


Santiago Salcedo (64') and Rodrigo Alborno (79') each scored once as Club Libertad blanked Atletico Tucuman 2-0 on the road.




GROUP E:


At Rio de Janeiro:


Angelo Araos scored the only goal of the match in the 76th minute as Universidad de Chile knocked off Vasco da Gama 1-0 on the road.
