MLS: Sunday Wins For Five Stripes, Citizens

Two games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

At Atlanta:

In front of a single-game record of 72,035 fans at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Miguel Almiron (73'), and Hector Villalba (75') each scored once as Atlanta United defeated visiting DC United 3-1. 

At New York:

Anton Tinnerholm (22') and David Villa (33') each scored once as New York City defeated the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1.
