UEFA Champions League, Group E: Ajax,Bayern Get Things Off On Right Foot

Group-stage play in the UEFA Champions League resumed on Wednesday with eight games, two of them in Group E.

At Amsterdam, Netherlands:

Nicolas Tagliafico scored twice (46', 90'; teammates celebrate here after his first goal) as Ajax Amsterdam dominated visiting AEK Athens 3-0.

At Lisbon, Portugal:

Robert Lewandowski (10') and Renato Sanches (54') produced the goals as Bayern Munich blanked SL Benfica 2-0 on the road.
