Revs Cop US Open Crown

At Frisco, Texas:

After losing three MLS Cup title games and one previous US Open Cup final, the New England Revolution won the 2007 Lamar Hunt US Open championship match Wednesday night, defeating FC Dallas 3-2 to win their first major trophy in their 12 season history. Pat Noonan scored one (21') and assisted on the Revs' two other goals, scored by Taylor Twellman (42') and Wells Thompson (58'). Arturo Alvarez (30') and Abe Thompson (64') provided the Dallas tallies.
