CONCACAF Champions League: Conclusion To Perfectly Awful Week For US Clubs

Three games were played on Wednesday as CONCACAF Champions League group-stage action continued:


Group A:


At Alajuela, Costa Rica:


Pablo Antonio Gabas scored the only goal of the match in the 28th minute as Alajuelense defeated the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy 1-0.


Group B:


At Commerce City, Colorado:


Carlos Pavon scored twice (12', 33') as Real Espana knocked off the Colorado Rapids 2-1 on the road.


Group C:


At Frisco, Texas:


Eduardo Herrera (84') and David Izazola (90'+1) provided the scoring late in the second half as UNAM Pumas knocked off FC Dallas 2-0 on the road.
