Santos Prove Way Too Much For Metapan; Impressive Win For Monarcas That Eliminates Motagua

Match day #4 in CONCACAF Champions League group stage play (a forgettable match day for the four US MLS clubs) came to a conclusion with two Thursday contests.


Group A:


At Tegucigalpa, Honduras:


Yasser Corona (55') and Damian Manso (58') each delivered a goal as Morelia blanked Motagua 2-0 on the road, making the Honduran club the first to be eliminated from the tournament.
