CONCACAF Champions League: Wins For Toronto FC, Monterrey, Herediano

The second half of group stage play in the CONCACAF Champions League commenced with three games played on Tuesday.


Group C:


At Toronto:


Danny Koevermans scored the only goal of the match in the 40th minute as Toronto FC moved for the time being into second place in Group C following their 1-0 home win over Panama's Tauro FC.


Group D:


At Monterrey, Mexico:


Sergio Santana (32'), Luis Perez (68'), and Humberto Suazo (80') each scored a goal as Monterrey defeated visiting Comunicaciones 3-1.


At Seattle:


Josimar Arias scored the lone goal of the match at 25 minutes as Herediano knocked off the Seattle Sounders 1-0 on the road.
