CAF Champions League: Qualifying Round Continues

The opening weekend of qualifying for the CAF Champions League concluded on Sunday.


At Antananarivo, Madagascar:


Zambia's Power Dynamos took outright command of their two-game series with Japan Actuel's, easily winning the opening match 5-1 on the road.


At Port Elizabeth, South Africa:


Rasca scored twice (12', 16') as Recreativo Do Libolo (Angola) took the opening match of their two-game series with Orlando Pirates, 3-1 on the road.


At Bangui, Central African Republic:


DFC8 took the opening game of their series with Les Astres of Cameroon, 1-0 at home.


At Monrovia, Liberia:


Berekum Chelsea from Ghana blanked Liberia Ship Corporate Registry FC (!) 2-0 on the road in their series opener.


At Franceville, Gabon:


Missile FC took the opening match with Africa Sports (Ivory Coast) 3-2 at home.


At Lobamba, Swaziland:


FC Platinum from Zimbabwe doubled up home-standing Green Mamba FC 4-2 in match one of the clubs' two-game series.


At Abidjan, Ivory Coast:


AFAD took the opening match of their series with Diables Noirs (Congo) 1-0 at home.


At Malabo, Equatorial Guinea:


Nigeria's Dolphin FC took command of their two-game series with Sony De Ela Nguema, winning the opening contest 3-0 on the road.


At Zanzibar City, Zanzibar, Tanzania:
