Copa Libertadores: Rough Night For Uruguayan Clubs

The second week of group-stage play in the Copa Libertadores concluded with two games contested on Thursday.


Group Five:


At Montevideo, Uruguay:


Miguel Samudio (58') and Mauro Carallero (63') each scored a goal five minutes apart as Club Libertad came from behind to knock off Club Nacional (Uruguay) 2-1 on the road.


Group Eight:


Diego Villar scored the only goal of the match in the 51st minute as Godoy Cruz defeated visiting Penarol 1-0.
