Valentin Iliev scored twice in the second half (48', 64') as Steaua Bucharest defeated visiting Dinamo Bucharest 3-2 in Thursday Romanian Liga I action. Steaua, currently in third place in the league standings with one game left, can still win the league title with a season-closing win at league-leading CFR Cluj on Sunday. As for the Red Dogs, they currently sit in fifth place. A home win on Sunday over Astra Ploiesti, combined with a Rapid Bucharest home loss to Otelul Galati, can earn Dinamo a shot at Europa League qualifying.
