FIFA Club World Cup: Guangzhou Evergrande, Raja Casablanca Advance To Semifinals

Both games in the quarterfinal round of the FIFA Club World Cup were contested on Saturday at Agadir, Morocco.

In the opener, Elkeson (49') and Dario Conca (67') delivered the goals that carried Guangzhou Evergrande (who won this year's AFC Champions League crown) to a 2-0 victory over African continental champs Al-Ahly from Egypt.



In the nightcap, Kouko Guehi (seen here celebrating) scored the winning goal in the 95th minute as Raja Casablanca knocked off CONCACAF Champions League titleholders Monterrey 2-1 in overtime.

On Tuesday, Guangzhou Evergrande will battle reigning European champs Bayern Munich at Agadir while on Wednesday, Raja Casablanca will take on Brazil's Atletico Mineiro, winners of the Copa Libertadores crown at Marrakesh.
