UEFA Champions League, Group G: Zenit Advance To Knockout Stage Despite Being Dominated By Violets In Vienna; Dragons Consigned To Europa League Round of 32 After Falling To Mattress Makers

Two games were played in Group G on Wednesday as UEFA Champions League group-stage action came to a close.

At Vienna, Austria:

Philipp Hosiner scored twice (44', 51') as Austria Vienna managed their first---and only---victory in the Champions League's group stage with a 4-1 home domination of Zenit Saint Petersburg, who still managed to advance to the knockout stage thanks to FC Porto's defeat at Atletico Madrid's hands.  Here are the happy Violets after Philipp's first goal as the hosts played by far their best game in Group G.
At Madrid:

Raul Garcia (14') and Diego Costa (37', that's him celebrating) provided the scoring as Atletico Madrid---already bound for the Champions League's group stage---condemned visiting FC Porto to the Europa League's Round of 32 by shutting out the Dragons 2-0.
