UEFA Champions League, Group D: Citizens Erase Two-Goal Deficit To Shock Bayern; Plzen Top Horses To Reach Round Of 32 Of Europa League

Action from Group D of the UEFA Champions League  concluded on Tuesday with two games.

At Munich, Germany:
David Silva (28'), Aleksandar Kolarov (PK-59'), and James Milner (62', that's him celebrating) each scored a goal as Manchester City came from two goals down to upend home-standing Bayern Munich 3-2.

At Plzen, Czech Republic:
Tomas Wagner scored the winning goal in the 90th minute as FC Viktoria Plzen, a number of whose happy players are shown here celebrating, defeated visting CSKA Moscow 2-1 and laid claim to a Europa League knockout-stage berth.

Bayern Munich and Manchester City advanced to the Champions League's knockout stage while FC Viktoria Plzen, because of a 2-1 advantage in away goals in their two game against CSKA Moscow, gained a berth in the knockout stage of the Europa League.
