2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying:

The second qualifying round from the CONCACAF region for the 2014 FIFA World Cup continued on Tuesday.


Group A:


At San Cristobal, Dominican Republic:


Eric Ozuna's equalizer in the 68th minute carried the Dominican Republic to a 1-1 home draw with Suriname.  Friso Mando converted a penalty kick for the guests at 25 minutes.


At George Town, Cayman Islands:


Luis Anaya scored twice (62', 80') as El Salvador moved to the top of the Group A standings following their 4-1 road win over the Cayman Islands.

2. Suriname (GP: 2; GD: +1; PTS: 4)
3. Dominican Republic (GP: 2; GD: -1; PTS: 1)

Group B:


At Bridgetown, Barbados:


Keon Daniel (20') and Darryl Roberts (69') each tallied once as Trinidad and Tobago blanked Barbados 2-0 on the road.


At Providence, Guyana:


Vurlon Mills scored twice in the second half (50', 59') as Guyana remained unbeaten and untied in Group B play following their 2-1 home win over Bermuda.

At Managua, Nicaragua:


Luis Tejada (7') and Blas Perez (50') provided the scoring the propelled Panama to a 2-1 road win over Nicaragua.

Group D:


At Gros Islet, Saint Lucia:


Ian Lake (6'), Mudassa Howe (12'), Joel Jeffers (14'), and Devaughn Elliot (44') each scored a first-half goal as Saint Kitts and Nevis held off hosts Saint Lucia 4-2.


At Bayamon, Puerto Rico:


With Iain Hume (41'), Simeon Jackson (84'), and Tosaint Ricketts (90') providing the scoring, Canada dominated Puerto Rico 3-0 on the road.

In the lone Tuesday Group E contest, Gustavo Cabrera (4') and Minor Lopez (75') each scored once as Guatemala held off hosts Belize 2-1.

At Frederiksted, St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands:


Peter Byers delivered a hat trick (PK-38', 49', 57') and Randolph Burton added a double (68', 82') as Antigua and Barbuda destroyed the United States Virgin Islands 8-1 on the road.


At Willemstad, Curacao:


Haiti, with goals courtesy of Kevin Lafrance (39'), James Marcelin (58'), Vaniel Sirin (60'), and Leonel Saint-Preux (80'), doubled up home standings Curacao 4-2.
