MLS: RSL Overpower Red Bulls In Jersey On Two-Draw Wednesday

Three games populated the Wednesday Major League Soccer schedule.


At Harrison, New Jersey:


Fabian Espindola scored twice (11', 21') during a three-goal first-half for Real Salt Lake as the visitors downed the New York Red Bulls 3-1.


At Washington:


Juan Pablo Angel's second-half double (57',69') helped Chivas USA erase a two-goal deficit and gain a 2-2 road draw with DC United.


At Portland, Oregon:


The Portland Timbers and visiting San Jose Earthquakes battled to a 1-1 draw.  Kenny Cooper scored for the Timbers in the 9th minute, while Khari Stephenson equalized at 70 minutes for the Quakes.
