In Saturday's AFC Champions League final, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors and visiting Al-Sadd battled to a 2-2 draw, which lasted through 30 scoreless overtime minutes. Enhino (17') and Lee Seung-Hyun (90'+2) scored for the hosts while the club from Qatar got their tallies from Sim Woo-Yeon (OG-30') and Abdul Keita (61'). In the penalty-kick shootout Mamadou Niang, Hassan Al Haidos, Ibrahim Majid, and Nadir Balhadj all converted their spot kicks as Al-Sadd won the shootout 4-2 to become the first club from Qatar to win the Asian continental club crown. They will take part in next month's FIFA Club World Cup in Japan.
