CAF Champions League: Zamalek To First Round Proper

The CAF Champions League's qualifying round continued on Saturday.

At Cairo, Egypt:

Mido scored the only goal of the match in the 31st minute as Zamalek defeated visiting Young Africans 1-0 in game two and won their two-match series with the Tanzanian club 2-1 on aggregate.

At Calulu, Angola:

Rasca (34') scored his team's only goal but it was good enough as Recreativo do Libolo gained a 1-1 game-two home draw with Orlando Pirates and took out the South African club 4-2 on aggregate.

At Zvishavane, Zimbabwe:

FC Platinum proved way too much for visiting Green Mamba as they demolished the club from Swaziland 4-0 in game two and won their two-match series handily, 8-2 on aggregate.

At Dakar, Senegal:

Foday Trawally scored in the 70th minute as Brikama United gained a 1-0 road win in game two with US Ouakam, then, with the series at 1-1 on aggregate, won the penalty-kick shootout 3-1 to advance to the first round proper.
